El Roi, Meaning “The God who sees me” or “The God of seeing”
Hagar was a low servant, mistreated and not respected. She was low, and in the moment of despair she left her son so she would not see him die, yet God saw her. He knew all that she was going through and she was SEEN. God sent an angel to speak to Hagar, and the angel sent Hagar and her son back to Abraham household and promised her that her son , Ishmael would not only live, but become the ancestor of many, many many generations and many people.
This is a reminder to all have felt that their pain is not seen, that they may be too low, too sinful, to much of an outlier. God SEES you and you have a purpose. God has a great plan for you even though sometimes it may not seem like HE does. Wait upon Him and he will renew your strength. Better days are coming.
